The Strangest Secret!

Arushi Agrawal

Today, my article is inspired by the “The Strangest Secret” by Earl Nightingale.

I want to cast light on some things which we had never thought before.

Mr. Earl Nightingale has very aptly said That we humans pay little value for things that are given to us for nothing and things that we pay money for, we value.

The paradox is that exactly the opposite is true! Everything that's really worthwhile in our life came to us for free- our dreams, our hopes, our body, our mind, our relationships, love from our family, our children, our friends and our country. All these priceless possessions are for free.

On the contrary things that cost us money are very cheap and can be easily replaced. A good man if wiped off all his fortune can create another fortune not once but several times. Even if our homes are burnt down, it can be rebuilt. But things that come for nothing, can never be replaced”

Let’s apply this concept to breastfeeding!

Breastfeeding comes to us absolutely FREE! It’s a gift from nature to every Mom & Baby!

A woman's body starts to prepare itself to feed its child even before she is born, by 6 months of gestational age, the basic framework of the mammary gland is established. At around 36 weeks of pregnancy babies learn to suck so that they are prepared for breastfeeding!

Nature has given so much importance to this process and the babies are designed in such a way that they only grow and thrive optimally if they are breastfed! Like we cannot even imagine a cow or a dog having another animal’s milk, humans too are born to have just their mother’s milk!

  • Do you still think breastfeeding is irreplaceable?

  • Do you still think that it's a choice to feed or not to feed?

Breastfeeding is not a choice, it's a responsibility of every mother towards her child!
